Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Finance/Business is an advantage.
• Previous Teller/Cash Handling experience preferred.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills essential.
• Good communication and attention to detail; AML/KYC understanding beneficial.

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other cash transactions accurately.

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Teller to handle day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate cash handling, and provide a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other cash transactions accurately.


• Verify customer identification and supporting documents in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.


• Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.


• Ensure accuracy in cash counting, reconciliation, and transaction records.


• Provide customers with information on available products and services.


• Refer customers to relevant team members for additional service requirements.


• Identify and report unusual or suspicious transactions in line with AML / compliance guidelines.


• Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction information.


• Handle customer queries professionally and courteously.


• Ensure adherence to operational, cash-handling, and compliance procedures.


• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Candidate Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or related field is an advantage.


• Previous experience as a Teller, Cashier, Cash Handling Executive, Exchange House Teller, Banking Operations Executive, or Customer Service Executive preferred.


• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.


• High attention to detail and accuracy.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Basic understanding of AML / KYC / financial compliance preferred.


• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions.


• Must be flexible to work in rotational shifts.


• Must be open to relocation within the UAE.


• Comfortable with a fixed salary of AED 3,000 per month.
