Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Tools Manager to enhance project efficiency by optimizing tools allocation. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least six years of related experience. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, manage inventory and people in the warehouse, and analyze project data. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus. It's a hybrid role based in Dubai with some travel requirements.

Job Description Summary

This role is responsible to minimize idle time or logistic time to ensure that all projects’ objectives are met by maintaining the highest levels genuine utilization. Ensuring that the right tools are available, in the right condition, and at the right time. The tools manager will work closely with the Planning Coordinator optimizing tools allocation plan.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support to Project Managers.
  • Includes direct people management in the warehouse
  • Has knowledge of best practices storage, inventory, maintenance management
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address the shortage of the critical tools
  • Analyse data and trends to identify potential risks, opportunities and propose solutions and strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Liaising with site construction teams and other related professionals
  • Work very closely with Project Manager and Planning coordinator to schedule tools allocation
  • Knowledge of the rent pricing, Ability to record finance figures in SAP
  • Updating MSProject assignment plan or equivalent
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, field service and operation
  • Willingness to travel up to 10–20% as required by project and operational needs
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Working in knowledge in Sales Force Smax environment
  • Fluency in Arabic and French will be a plus
  • Experience in energy industry including exposure to Gas Insulated Switchgear will be a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
