David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company who is looking to recruit a Surveillance Team Leader to join their team in Ras-Al Khaimah, UAE.
About the role:
This role serves as a key communication bridge between Surveillance Operators, Game Integrity, and Risk & Fraud functions, driving best practices and compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, proven leadership within iGaming, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily Surveillance operations, ensuring effective monitoring and timely resolution of incidents.
- Analyze and validate reported incidents, escalating when required and supporting evaluations or disciplinary actions.
- Monitor online and physical environments to identify suspicious, irregular, or non-compliant activities.
- Coordinate task allocation, manage live escalations, and support decision-making in critical cases.
- Maintain accurate logs and detailed reports to support incident tracking, performance reviews, and operational transparency.
- Oversee testing and performance validation of surveillance systems in collaboration with QA and development teams.
- Mentor, train, and support Surveillance Operators, ensuring alignment with procedures and professional development.
- Contribute to performance evaluations and monthly bonus reviews by validating task completion and sanctions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Additional language skills, strong presentation abilities, and conflict-resolution skills are a plus.
- 4–5 years of experience in Surveillance or Risk/Fraud within the iGaming industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of surveillance systems, video monitoring tools, and fraud detection methods.
- Proven analytical skills with experience identifying irregularities in online gaming or live roulette environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Teams, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience producing structured reports.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, within a 24/7 operational environment.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with advanced surveillance software, data analysis tools such as Tableau or SQL, and performance KPIs is considered an advantage.
