Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our end-to-end supply chain activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics across UAE Free Zones and international markets, supporting procurement activities, and ensuring timely expediting of orders to meet operational and customer requirements. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange inbound and outbound shipments within UAE Free Zones and international locations, ensuring compliance with local customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, and Free Zone paperwork.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth movement of goods.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or logistics challenges.
Procurement
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements and approved vendor lists.
  • Raise purchase orders, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of approved suppliers, pricing, and procurement documentation.
Expediting & Order Management
  • Monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed lead times and report any anticipated delays.
  • Update internal teams on order status, expected delivery dates, and potential supply risks.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to confirm receipt and resolve discrepancies.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of logistics, procurement, and expediting activities.
  • Prepare routine reports such as delivery schedules, PO status, shipment trackers, and KPI dashboards.
  • Support internal audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Cross-Functional Support
  • Collaborate closely with operations, finance, sales, and quality teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
  • Assist in inventory management activities including stock checks, replenishment planning, and updating ERP systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in logistics coordination & procurement
  • Strong understanding of UAE Free Zone regulations and international shipping practices.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems (experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
