A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking a qualified engineer to supervise technical drawings and ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience in the UAE/GCC region. Responsibilities include managing shop drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications, and coordinating with design engineers. This role requires strong drafting skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.

Job Responsibilities

a.Supervise the Technical drawings to ensure high-quality deliverables.

b.Review and approve all drawings (architectural, structural, civil, or MEP depending on discipline) before submission.

c.Coordinate with design engineers to clarify technical details and ensure drawings reflect the latest design intent.

d.Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, international standards, and local authority requirements.

e.Manage the preparation of detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.

f.Ensure consistency in drafting practices, templates, layers, formats, and file naming systems.

g.Resolve technical discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

h.Verify accuracy of dimensions, levels, and material specifications in all drawings.

i.Ensure drawing revisions are properly tracked and documented.

Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering is required.

5-7 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within the UAE/GCC region.
