Job description

We are looking for a skilled Structural Designer with 5 to 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas projects preferably with a strong background in Saudi Aramco offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in Smart 3D (S3D) modeling and be responsible for preparing and delivering high‑quality structural design deliverables for fixed offshore platforms in line with project and client requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop 3D structural models using Smart 3D (S3D) for jackets decks bridges and other offshore structures.
• Prepare design drawings including layouts sections details and fabrication drawings for offshore platforms.
• Generate material take‑offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOM) based on design requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications Saudi Aramco standards and international design codes (API AISC DNV).
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure accurate and clash‑free designs.
• Incorporate design changes mark‑ups and redlines during design and construction phases.
• Participate in design and model reviews and provide inputs for constructability and fabrication.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure timely submission of deliverables as per project schedule.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Structural or related drafting discipline.
• 5-15 years of experience in structural design for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Smart 3D (S3D) is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco offshore design standards is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD MicroStation and other 2D/3D drafting tools is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret engineering calculations and translate them into detailed structural drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality design work.
