This role involves evaluating and checking examination scripts in UK Law (Levels 4-6), ensuring accuracy and fairness in line with marking schemes. Ideal candidates will hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Law, and those with a Master's are preferred. Prior experience in examination marking is advantageous. Key Responsibilities
Examination Script Evaluation
  • Check and evaluate examination copies in UK Law subjects (Levels 4–6).
  • Apply marking schemes consistently and fairly across all scripts.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure accuracy of marks awarded and adherence to academic standards.
  • Identify discrepancies and report issues to the Head.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with fellow examiners to maintain consistency.
  • Participate in moderation sessions and calibration exercises when required.
Compliance
  • Uphold academic integrity and confidentiality in handling examination materials.
  • Follow institutional policies and procedures for assessment management.
