Spa Therapist - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including body and facial treatments, massages, and home care advice. Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction in all spa services according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately explain spa treatment menu and packages to guests.
• Provide unforgettable spa experience by understanding guest preferences and tailoring service accordingly.
• Orient guests through Spa & Fitness facilities, greet guests, and provide personal guest service.
• Maintain the quality of service and overall appearance of locker areas, lounge area, and restrooms.
• Focus on high customer service and departmental operation budget adherence, maximizing revenues and minimizing expenses.
• Respond flexibly and positively to changing requirements and request any tasks requested.
• Actively promote the Hotel’s services to guests and suppliers.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all guest requests.
• Perform Beauty Therapy Treatments in rooms set up to Hilton Standards and keep rooms clean, well‑stocked, and properly set up prior to treatment.
• Actively promote spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as seminars, promotions, and discounts available.
• Achieve daily & monthly sales/service targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service industry is required.
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and understood English for effective communication with guests.
• Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• At least 1 year experience in the spa or hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel property or in a wellness related field on a similar role.
