Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil / Structural Designer to join its engineering team. The role focuses on the design phase of major onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience and strong expertise in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D). Responsibilities include developing detailed designs, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with project standards. Immediate availability and UAE residency are required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in civil/structural design for onshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong expertise with SP3D is mandatory.
• Familiar with international standards and codes (e.g. ACI BS ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil and structural design models and drawings using SP3D.
• Prepare and update GA drawings and structural steel arrangements.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural Engineers for design consistency.
