Responsibilities
- Supervise site activities for fire alarm, fire fighting, and life safety systems to ensure work conforms to approved drawings, method statements, and standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and Civil Defence for inspections and approvals.
- Review and verify technical drawings, material submittals, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Monitor installation of fire alarm systems (FACP detectors, modules, devices) and fire fighting systems (piping, sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, suppression systems).
- Ensure compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA, and local authority regulations.
- Plan and manage site work progress, manpower allocation, and daily activity schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, identify non‑conformities, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare documentation including method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, checklists, reports, and test certificates.
- Oversee testing & commissioning of FA/FF systems and support Civil Defence inspections.
- Coordinate MEP interfaces, ELV systems, and equipment installation.
- Maintain quality, safety, and HSE compliance at all times.
- Attend progress meetings and provide updates on site status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Engineering.
- Experience in fire safety, fire alarm, or fire fighting project execution (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defence procedures.
- Experience supervising installation of fire pumps, suppression systems, sprinklers, and FA panels.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficient in project coordination, site execution, and quality control.
- Good command of MS Office, AutoCAD, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid UAE driving license.
