They are currently hiring for a Service Sales Manager - Heat Exchanger & Cooler Refurbishment for their office in Sharjah, UAE.
Position Summary
The Service Sales Manager will be a key driver of business growth, responsible for the commercial strategy, sales, and management of service contracts for a diverse range of heat transfer equipment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong client relationship management skills.
The focus is on securing new business and managing existing long-term service contracts (LTSAs) for both workshop and on-site refurbishment services, particularly within the demanding environment of industrial shutdowns. The ideal candidate must be a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in technical sales within the servicing industry, possessing deep technical knowledge of relevant industry standards and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Salary: AED 18,000-22,000 (depending on experience)plus family status
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the service division.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new service and refurbishment contracts for a comprehensive range of heat transfer equipment, including: Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Plate Heat Exchangers, Fin Fan Air Cooler, Condensers, Marine Coolers, Evaporators.
- Focus on securing and managing service work in both the workshop environment and on-site during industrial shutdowns (turnarounds).
Commercial & Contract Management
- Lead the negotiation, execution, and management of long-term service contracts (LTSAs) with key clients in the refinery, petrochemical, and power sectors.
- Prepare detailed, technically sound commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations, ensuring profitability and alignment with client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new service opportunities and inform pricing strategies.
- Technical Sales Support & Compliance
- Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for clients, leveraging a sound knowledge of ASME and TEMA standards to propose optimal repair and refurbishment solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Operations team to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all commercial activities and proposed service scopes adhere to client-specific and refinery HSE requirements.
- Conduct technical presentations and client meetings to articulate the value proposition of the company's service offerings.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams at client organizations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact and technical consultation through to contract closure and post-sales follow-up.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 Years Proven experience in technical sales, business development, and commercial management within the service, repair, or refurbishment industry, specifically for heat transfer or related industrial equipment.
- Sound, demonstrable knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) and TEMA Standards (Class R, C, and B).
- Direct experience selling service solutions into refinery, petrochemical, or power generation environments, with an understanding of shutdown/turnaround logistics.
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial and refinery HSE requirements as they relate to service contracts and on-site work.
- Extensive experience in negotiating, managing, and executing long-term service contracts (LTSAs).
