Job Purpose
Grow and manage a profitable portfolio of commercial banking clients by originating, structuring, and deepening both asset and liability relationships. Deliver Shariah-compliant solutions while maintaining strong credit quality and full regulatory compliance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Product development, Business Acquisition & Portfolio Growth. Achieve annual asset and liability growth targets with strong profitability.
- Originate quality Islamic financing deals aligned with the bank’s strategy.
- Expand and retain a profitable commercial client portfolio.
- Ensure zero compliance breaches and maintain high-quality account reviews.
- Increase cross-sell penetration across trade, treasury, and transaction banking.
- Maintain asset quality with minimal overdue or NPA levels.
- Deliver high customer satisfaction and build long‑term relationships.
- Source new commercial banking customers to grow both financing assets and liability products.
- Provide end‑to‑end client onboarding, needs assessment, and customized Islamic financial solutions.
- Ensure revenue growth through cross‑selling trade finance, treasury products, cash management, and merchant solutions.
- Conduct financial due diligence, credit assessments, and transaction analysis.
- Acquire and retain deposit clients to grow CASA, Wakala, and term investment accounts.
- Provide clients with profit rate insights, liquidity solutions, and treasury‑linked offerings.
- Conduct periodic client reviews, monitor account activity, and maintain strong relationship mapping.
- Identify early warning signals and initiate timely remedial actions.
- Prepare credit proposals with accurate financial analysis and sector insights.
- Adhere to AML/KYC, enhanced due diligence, and account monitoring standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or commerce; MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of commercial banking experience, ideally within Islamic banking.
- Proven track record in both asset and liability growth.
