Job description

Imagine a travel agent on RateHawk searches for a hotel in Dubai for their client. The request travels through ETG’s systems, routed, filtered, and prioritized across dozens of supplier APIs, each with its own latency, data quality, and inventory freshness. The faster and smarter we can identify which suppliers are most likely to return bookable rates, the higher our booking conversion, the lower our costs, and the better the experience for our partners/travelers.

The Senior Product Manager for Availability and Supply efficiency will own this invisible but critical layer of intelligence, designing products, systems, and optimizations that ensure ETG always connects the right demand with the right supply, at the right cost and speed.

This role sits at the heart of ETG’s supply demand ecosystem, driving how search requests are distributed, processed, and converted into bookings, ensuring efficient traffic flow, reliable supplier responses, and a scalable foundation for growth.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible to build a data-driven availability engine that minimizes waste in supplier requests, enhances rate freshness and accuracy, and enables the company to scale its global footprint with minimal marginal cost.

Key Goals for 2026
  • Clear ownership of the Availability Value Stream established: Product strategy, vision, north star metrics, architecture, roadmap, and accountability defined.
  • Availability % (share of hotels with at least one available rate within a unique search) improved by 10%, driven by better supplier qualification, caching, and feed optimization.
  • L2B (Look-to-Book, conversion from demand-side searches to bookings) and S2B (Search-to-Book, supplier efficiency – ratio of supplier searches to bookings) ratios optimized, resulting in a 15% reduction in redundant supplier traffic with no loss in FNBC.
  • Fully automated monitoring and alerting system for availability health is built.
Responsibilities

Strategic Product Management for Availability Value stream

  • Develop and champion a strategic vision and roadmap for Availability & Supply efficiency.
  • Prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable improvements to SR, IR, L2B, supplier yield, and other relevant metrics.
  • Own the end-to-end availability funnel: Search request received → Supplier called → Rates validated → Rates returned → SR/IR recorded.
  • Define, track, and communicate availability KPIs across the organization including Senior leadership.

Supply & feed Optimization

  • Design and optimize the Supplier Qualification (SupQ) and StopList business logic, determine which suppliers get traffic and when.
  • Partner with Feed Management and Supply Integrations to cut unproductive suppliers or adjust their traffic share.
  • Lead S2B optimization, ensuring suppliers QPS and L2B limits are used efficiently through adaptive throttling.
  • Oversee Feed Efficiency Dashboards and implement automatic feed rebalancing rules based on ROI.

Traffic & Demand Optimization

  • Partner with Search and B2B API teams to build L2B optimizers that predict and block non-convertible search requests.
  • Implement ML-driven traffic routing to maximize supplier ROI while reducing unnecessary load on low-performing suppliers.
  • Analyze brand-level availability discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions across product lines.

Availability Monitoring, Reliability & SLOs

  • Develop a real-time monitoring and alerting framework for availability degradation across pipeline.
  • Define clear SLOs for each system component (supplier response time, data freshness, rate loss).
  • Launch Availability Dashboards and enable self-diagnosis across teams.
  • Introduce auto mitigation tools (e.g., supplier rerouting, cache fallback, rate recycling).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with other Consolidator value streams:

  • Search – ensure optimized query formation and routing.
  • Content – validate hotel and room data accuracy for availability logic.
  • Pricing & Rate Management – align rate filtering and availability rules.
  • Checkout – ensure prebook and book SR optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics, Supply, and Infra teams to align metrics and performance standards.

Explore and optimize business logic which leads to loss of availability

  • Cross-funnel exploration to understand what leads to low and irrelevant availability and come up with optimizations to improve it.
  • 7+ years in Product Management, ideally in travel, marketplace, or high volume API systems.
  • Experience managing supply demand optimization products or availability pipelines.
  • Strong data skills (SQL, dashboarding, metric design).
  • Familiarity with ML-driven traffic optimization, feed balancing, or availability caching or similar ML products.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics (MBA preferred).
  • English level - C1 (advanced).
  • Flexible schedules and opportunity to work remotely.
  • Ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together.
  • Internal programs for adaptation and training, development of soft skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Partial compensation for participating in external training and conferences.
  • Corporate English school: Group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world.
  • Corporate prices on hotels and travel services.
  • MyTime Day Off - an extra non-working day once per quarter without loss of compensation.
