Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of designers, 3D, and CAD operators.
• Knowledge of full sets of plans from Concept to IFC.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative concept design presentations and client meetings.
• Coordinate with client's subconsultants and internal design teams.
• Review all sets of drawings from Schematic until IFC.

Archibat HR Asia is looking for a Senior Interior Designer Lead for an Award Winning Interior Design Studio to be based in their Abu Dhabi office, which focuses on Residential, Workplace, Hospitality, Commercial, and F&B projects.

Ideal Profile

• Lead interior designer with experience in residential plots (ideally working on real estate development projects), and strong background of concept storytelling.
• The Lead interior designer will be In-charge of creative concept design presentations, attending weekly meetings with client, coordinating with client’s subconsultants (MEP, arch, Lighting etc..), with internal design team, BIM & 3d team, liaising with the technical team, reviewing all sets of drawings from Schematic until IFC, FF&E selection, specifying all interior finishes, FF&E and client presentations.

Requirements

• – Bachelor / Master Degrees in Interior Design or related.
• – Must have experience in Residential projects.
• – Creative Design thinking skills, ability to create strong concept stories draw and review all sets of drawings.
• – 8-12yrs of international exp working for reputed global design firms.
• – Exp and knowledge in managing a team of designers, 3D, and CAD operators.
• – Exp and knowledge in both internal and external coordination with subconsultants.
• – Candidate must have knowledge on full set of plans from Concept to IFC, FF&E suppliers (wall finishes & textures, floor finishes, FF&E, acoustic ceilings etc..).
• – Excellent skills in English (written and spoken).
• – Strong in concept design, hand-sketching skills is a plus.
• Position to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
