The Senior HR Business Partner – Delivery in Dubai supports Amazon’s last-mile and sub-same-day delivery operations across the UAE. The role partners closely with delivery station leaders and operational teams to implement the people plan, strengthen leadership capability, improve employee engagement, and support a productive workforce.
The position requires a commercially aware HR professional who can provide practical advice, manage organizational change, interpret workforce data, and resolve complex employee matters. The Senior HR Business Partner will work across multiple sites and leadership levels while contributing to regional HR projects and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage trusted relationships with business leaders across multiple delivery operations and employee groups.
- Develop workforce plans that support operational demand, organizational priorities, employee capability, and long-term business objectives.
- Prepare detailed proposals, business documents, and implementation plans that explain recommended HR initiatives, supporting data, execution mechanisms, and timelines.
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, attendance, conduct, engagement, retention, and organizational change.
- Coach operational leaders to strengthen people‑management capability and improve leadership consistency across delivery sites.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are understood, applied consistently, and aligned with local employment requirements.
- Train managers and HR colleagues on policies, employee processes, workplace standards, and effective people practices.
- Coordinate with shared service centers and specialist HR teams to resolve employee cases and deliver accurate administrative support.
- Maintain a strong focus on workforce engagement, employee experience, retention risks, and performance improvement.
- Support compensation, benefits, talent development, succession planning, and employee growth initiatives where required.
- Analyze workforce data and identify trends related to turnover, absence, engagement, productivity, performance, and employee concerns.
- Present data‑driven recommendations to business leaders and influence decisions that improve workforce stability and operational results.
- Lead or support regional HR projects, process improvements, and change‑management initiatives.
- Partner with HR colleagues in other locations and corporate business units to ensure consistent program delivery and policy alignment.
- Coordinate personnel representative matters and support the management of complex employee relations cases.
- Provide specialist guidance on UAE employment legislation, HR policies, workplace practices, and compliance obligations.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, case records, workforce reports, project plans, and management updates.
- Balance strategic responsibilities with hands‑on HR support when operational priorities require immediate intervention.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience supporting hourly paid employee populations in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, call center, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.
- At least 5 years of leadership, HR partnership, or people‑management experience within operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping, logistics, healthcare, hospitality, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior managers and influence operational decisions through practical HR guidance.
- Solid knowledge of employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention, compensation, benefits, and leadership development.
- Experience managing organizational change and supporting teams through periods of operational growth or restructuring.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and convert findings into clear recommendations.
- Understanding of UAE employment legislation and local HR compliance requirements.
- Experience preparing business proposals, project documents, implementation plans, and executive-level reports.
- Strong coaching, consultation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion, fairness, and sound professional judgment.
- Comfortable working across several locations, operational teams, and competing business priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with regional and corporate HR teams.
