Role Context
The Logistics Executive will serve as a key link between Amazon and its Delivery Service Partners. The position will monitor partner performance throughout the business lifecycle, identify operational barriers, and coordinate practical solutions with internal stakeholders and DSP owners. By combining performance data, process analysis, compliance monitoring, and partner engagement, the executive will help improve delivery reliability, strengthen network standards, and support sustainable growth among last‑mile delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day relationships with assigned Delivery Service Partners.
- Act as the primary coordination point between Amazon teams and partner businesses.
- Monitor program performance across delivery operations, service quality, compliance, and business health.
- Own the network compliance score for associated partner accounts.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, and improvement opportunities within transportation operations.
- Investigate operational issues affecting delivery performance, partner compliance, or customer experience.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve partner and network‑level problems.
- Map business requirements and document existing transportation workflows.
- Analyze operational processes and recommend scalable solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications for process, system, or reporting improvements.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, scorecards, forecasts, and executive updates.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, recurring barriers, and potential efficiency gains.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance‑planning activities.
- Conduct detailed reviews of partner performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with DSP owners as a trusted adviser on business planning, operational strategy, and risk management.
- Help partners understand Amazon standards, performance expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Track agreed improvement plans and confirm actions are completed within required timelines.
- Escalate significant operational, compliance, or business continuity concerns.
- Research industry practices and apply relevant insights to logistics challenges.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and partner review meetings.
- Promote consistent communication and collaboration across delivery, finance, operations, and partner‑management teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the last‑mile delivery network.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Experience supporting logistics, transportation, delivery, or partner‑management operations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical ability with confidence interpreting operational and performance data.
- Ability to understand complex business challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience mapping business processes, requirements, and workflows is beneficial.
- Strong coordination skills for working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
