Job description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To support secure cargo operations on a shift basis, optimize aircraft space and payload on critical flight sectors, and manage post-flight activities and compliance, while fostering seamless coordination among Ground Handling Agents and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs assigned tasks in line with company Standard Operating Procedures, safety, security and specific airline procedures.
  • Identifies critical flight sectors to optimize space and payload. .
  • Co-ordinates with GHA and ensures cargo is flown as booked and that customer service standards are maintained as per SLA agreed.
  • Intercepts and resolves issues such as delays, disruptions, cargo mishandling and transfer of cargo to minimize misconnections and optimum utilization of aircraft capacity.
  • Investigates and prepares post flight reports and communicates with Senior Officers for proactive decision-making.
  • Evaluates the shift strength and escalates further requirements with Senior Officers when required.
  • Ensures the expeditious and accurate completion of all post flight activities including dispatch messages, forwarding documentation, and completion of station file. .
  • Collates and compiles the cargo documentation for cargo uplifted on flights in accordance with local regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Undertakes warehouse and airside activities as assigned by Senior Officers.
  • Performs departure and arrival functions in Cargo systems at regular intervals for the Dubai station.
  • Communicates Dubai and outstation non-compliances to cargo quality control for preventive measures.
  • Ensures courier and post office mail activities are undertaken in liaison with Ground Handling Agents.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in English
  • Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA CBTA 7.3A or UAE GCAA FIT4.1D). Live Animal Regulations. Perishable Cargo Regulations. Safety Management Systems. Aviation Security.

ISR Requirements

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
