A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer (Process Field) with offshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects, to be based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years relevant experience in commissioning, especially in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors. Key responsibilities include reviewing commissioning manuals, verifying mechanical completion certificates, and participating in troubleshooting analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in commissioning/operation readiness positions.
• At least five (5) years experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, hydro‑desulfurization projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.

Experience required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with experience in the GCC region as a preference.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with preference of commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, hydro‑desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
