Job summary

A renowned healthcare institution in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled physician to join its Cancer Institute. This position focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of illnesses related to medical oncology and hematology, catering to both inpatient and outpatient care. The ideal candidate will possess an MD or equivalent degree, specialization in Medical Oncology, and relevant clinical experience. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, treatment prescription, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications

  • Minimum two years additional experience for Associate Staff (Specialist) from Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries.
  • Three years clinical experience for Associate Staff (Specialist) from Tier 3 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and provide care to patients with solid tumors and hematological disorders.
  • Prescribe medication, chemotherapy, and specialized medical care.
  • Analyze records and test results to diagnose conditions.
  • Interact with patients to gather medical history.
  • Explain procedures and discuss treatment results with patients.
  • Perform procedures like bone marrow biopsies.
  • Evaluate patients and document treatment records.
  • Liaison with staff to ensure quality treatment.
  • Participate in administrative functions.
