Job Overview

As an experienced Senior Integration Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain software solutions across all systems of a cutting‑edge UAV software stack. You will work with the leading domain experts to find the best integration and automation solutions for their requirements.

You will work hands‑on with the in‑house developed hardware and software, including flight controllers and mission computers, shaping the way these systems are integrated and validated. Your understanding of integration processes and problem‑solving skills will be crucial in ensuring we provide the best possible service to our customers.

Secure Systems Research Center (SSRC)

Key Responsibilities
System Integration
  • Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to define integration requirements and specifications.
  • Design and implement integration bridges between the various systems of the autonomous flight stack, all the way to deployment into production.
  • Build up and maintain comprehensive documentation of software configurations.
System Validation
  • Be a key player in preparation and maintenance of software releases.
  • Discover, document, track, and solve software issues.
  • Closely engage with end users to provide guidance and support.
CICD and Automation
  • Develop orchestration tools and APIs for reproducible system deployments, release generation, debugging, etc.
  • Build and extend CI/CD pipelines for a multitude of distributed components.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of integration pipelines.
Job Specifications

Industry / Domain Research / Secure Systems

Must‑have Qualifications
  • BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with embedded systems, including hands‑on with the hardware.
  • In‑depth understanding of the software validation processes and tools involved.
  • Strong skills with Python and Bash for automation / CICD.
  • Experience working with Jenkins / GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, even under time pressure.
  • Desire to learn and engage with new technologies and practices.
Nice‑to‑have Qualifications
  • Experience with autonomous systems development, especially UAVs, is a huge plus.
  • UAV pilot license is a huge plus. Experience building HIL / CICD systems from ground up.
  • Experience with cross‑organization, cross‑system integration at scale.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript for packaging, front‑end development.
  • Familiarity with Golang, Rust, C.
