Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressive machinist experience in the aviation industry.
• D2 level authorization in machine shop practices (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform machining tasks on aircraft engine parts.
• Program and operate CNC machines including various controls.
• Inspect completed machining tasks for compliance with specifications.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Skills

Ability to operate conventional machining equipment independently

Proficiency using precision measurement instruments

CNC programming and operation skills (Fanuc, Siemens, EDM, 5-axis machines)

Skilled in drilling, tapping, reaming, screw extraction, and Heli-coil installation

Clear verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of aircraft components and related structures

Education

Associate vocational or technical qualification relevant to machining or aviation maintenance
