Education
- High School Diploma (Security certification preferred).
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Valid security guard license or certificate (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clean background and police clearance.
Campus Monitoring & Surveillance
- Conduct routine patrols across all campus buildings, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and promptly report any suspicious activities.
- Ensure all security systems, alarms, and access controls are functioning properly.
- Track entry/exit points and ensure only authorized personnel access restricted areas.
Safety & Emergency Response
- Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies (medical, fire, safety hazards, disturbances).
- Provide first-line response and coordinate with emergency services when required.
- Assist with evacuation procedures and follow the university’s emergency protocols.
- Report hazards or safety issues and ensure timely escalation to relevant departments.
Incident Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily activity logs, incident reports, and handover notes.
- Document security breaches, accidents, or violations accurately and professionally.
- Support investigations by providing detailed accounts and evidence when necessary.
Student & Visitor Assistance
- Provide directions, guidance, and information to students, visitors, and staff.
- Assist visitors with campus rules, registration, and access procedures.
- Address student-related concerns and maintain a positive and supportive environment.
Policy Enforcement
- Uphold university rules, conduct guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with ID checks, parking regulations, and access control procedures.
- De-escalate conflicts professionally and maintain order during events or peak hours.
Asset & Property Protection
- Protect university property, facilities, and equipment from theft or damage.
- Conduct routine inspections of doors, locks, windows, and perimeter fencing.
- Ensure secure handling and monitoring of deliveries and maintenance activities.
Other Duties
- Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.
