Role Purpose

The Sales supervisor is accountable for the achievement of the agreed sales projection within the assigned area/territory. To lead a team of field force sales professionals to achieve their sales targets. To ensure a long-term partnership with customers and key opinion leaders. Follow up the implementation of sales strategies to ensure profitable achievement and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Business Delivery
  • Achieve the agreed sales objectives and market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Execute sales activities and initiatives necessary to deliver business objectives.
  • Participate in sales forecasting, business planning, and resource allocation.
  • Continuously monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to address gaps and maximize opportunities.
  • Ensure effective execution of brand strategies, promotional campaigns, and commercial initiatives.
Team Leadership & People Development
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Medical Representatives to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and cultivate a winning team attitude.
  • Conduct regular field coaching sessions and provide constructive performance feedback.
  • Develop and monitor Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for team members.
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Field Force Effectiveness
  • Monitor sales force productivity through visit plans, field coaching reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure effective territory management and customer coverage.
  • Review business reports and sales activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of execution and accountability within the team.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, customers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Implement customer‑centric strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Represent the company professionally and strengthen its reputation in the market.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Provide timely market feedback and recommend appropriate actions and business opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive growth.
  • Support the launch and growth of new products and strategic initiatives within the territory.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, SOPs, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely business reports and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance within the team.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating leadership, professionalism, and company values.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE is required.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in team leadership, coaching, or mentoring is preferred.
