Your Day to Day:

As a Recreation Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our recreation facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth operations, and high safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team while maintaining a fun, engaging, and professional environment. A background in fitness and gym operations is an advantage.

Some of your main role responsibilities are:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the recreation areas, including gym, pool, and activity facilities.
• Lead, train, and motivate the recreation team to deliver outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and functionality of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Develop and promote recreation programs, wellness activities, and special events.
• Provide support in handling guest inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation through memberships, programs, and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, operations, and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience.

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• 1 to 2 years supervisory experience in recreation, leisure, hospitality or resort settings
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and ensure service excellence.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Having UAE Lifeguard license for pool and beach, first aider certification is an advantage.
• Gym/fitness instruction background is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
