Job Title: Radiology Technologist (Radio Technologist)

Location: Libya

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-ray CT MRI and ultrasound machines as per required procedures.

  • Prepare and position patients properly to ensure accurate imaging and minimize radiation exposure.

  • Follow established radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain clear and precise diagnostic images.

  • Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

  • Monitor and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Assist in training and guiding junior staff or interns when required.

  • Ensure confidentiality and compassionate care for all patients.

  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited institution.

  • Valid professional license or certification as a Radiology Technologist.

  • Minimum 23 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.

  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging procedures and radiation safety practices.

  • Proficiency in using radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving systems (PACS).

  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
