A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance procedures. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the aluminium or façade industry, a relevant engineering degree, and strong communication skills. This role is critical for maintaining high standards in project delivery and compliance with ISO standards.
Implement and monitor the project-specific QA/QC plan and procedures
Ensure all work complies with internal quality standards project specifications and relevant codes
Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to QA/QC protocols
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are taken
Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved material submittals
Review and approve method statements inspection test plans (ITPs) and quality-related documents
Supervise and conduct inspections at various stages: fabrication installation and finishing
Coordinate third-party inspections and testing as required
Maintain comprehensive records of inspections test results non-conformances and quality reports
Prepare and submit daily/weekly QA/QC reports to the Project Manager
Ensure that all relevant QA/QC documents are updated and maintained in compliance with ISO standards
Coordinate with the project team site engineers subcontractors and consultants regarding quality issues
Support the site team in resolving technical issues related to materials methods and quality
Attend quality meetings and participate in site progress reviews
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
35 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer preferably in the aluminium glass or façade industry
In-depth knowledge of QA/QC procedures ISO standards and construction industry codes
Familiarity with façade systems such as curtain walls cladding structural glazing ACP etc.
Proficient in MS Office and quality reporting tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach
Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes is a strong advantage
