Job Summary

A reputable and growing restaurant in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities for all food, beverages, consumables, and non-food items. This role requires close coordination with the kitchen, inventory, finance, and other departments, and reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase restaurant-related items in line with quality and cost standards.
  • Work with chefs and kitchen team to fulfill daily ingredient requirements.
  • Maintain approved supplier lists and track purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Manage documentation including LPOs, invoices, contracts, and supplier records.
  • Liaise with inventory control to monitor stock levels and avoid over/under purchasing.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries, resolve quality/delivery issues.
  • Monitor pricing trends, discounts, and supplier performance.
  • Submit purchasing cost reports to the Restaurant Manager and Finance.
Job Requirements
