Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness in public areas of residential properties. Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, corridors, and common spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Candidates should have experience in housekeeping and knowledge of cleaning techniques. Excellent time management and attention to detail are essential. This is a full-time position, and no remote work is available.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and products.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.
  • Basic English language skills for communication.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Public Area Attendant to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences. This role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas within our residential properties ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our residents and guests.

  • Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators and common spaces
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing surfaces
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
  • Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning as needed
  • Respond promptly to residents requests and concerns related to cleanliness and maintenance
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas are properly maintained

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in housekeeping preferably in a residential or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and products
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
