Job Summary

The Project Engineer Quick Ship has the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of QS projects. This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements and having ownership for timely approvals timely delivery profitability price uplift and final hand off. The Project Engineer Quick Ship has responsibility for developing the Project Plan and is responsible for overall success and execution of the project.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the execution phases of QS projects
  • Collaborate with the different groups (Sales office Order Administration Engineering Drafting Documentation Project Procurement Manufacturing) throughout the life of the project.
  • Host & lead the meetings with Quick Ship teams & sets proposal schedule with due dates.
  • Manage change orders progress payments understand commercial terms and conditions and all additions or expansions to the project with the Customer Local Business Partner/Sales Office. Support quoting the Lead-Time and Comments to the Manufacturing Specs during the pursuit phase.
  • Support approvals of any deviations to the Comments to the Manufacturing Specs and understand comments to the Commercial T&Cs Legal T&Cs and Technical Product Spec
  • Participate in joint project review/discussion with the sales team
  • Coordinate the Pre Inspection meeting with the end users Inspector EPC QC team TPIs and achieve clarity to the inspection requirements and process.
  • Point of contact for sales/customer for project status updates providing timely manner updates
  • Ensure the QS team is aligned with project plan & conduct regular progress reviews meetings with them
  • Ensure alignment with the Customer on the Fisher Commitment Dates and the Customer PO Dates including milestone dates for drawing and procedure submittals drawing and procedures approvals equipment inspection notifications and Ready for Inspection dates.
  • Interface and continuously communicate with the Customer Contractor and LBP throughout the life of the project to provide updates milestones and progress.

  • Degree in Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering
