Overview

Our client is bidding for work on the Dubai Metro Stations Flood Protection Measures And Operational Headway Improvement (Package 2) and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Project Manager.

Job Summary

The Project Manager (TPSS) is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of the Traction Power Supply System within a rail or metro infrastructure project. This includes managing all aspects of the system from design and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage the TPSS project plan, schedule, and deliverables; ensure timely execution from design through to commissioning.
  • Technical Oversight: Lead and review engineering, design, and technical documentation; oversee procurement, installation, testing, and integration of traction power equipment.
  • Stakeholder & Interface Management: Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, clients, and external agencies; manage system interfaces with OCS, signaling, and civil works.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Monitor project costs, budgets, and contracts; handle change orders and support claims / dispute resolution.
  • Risk, Quality & Safety Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation measures; ensure adherence to safety standards and quality requirements.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders; maintain documentation and project records.
Qualifications

Job Requirements: Construction / engineering related university degree, preferably a Master’s degree or have Chartered Engineer Status, with not less than 20+ years' experience in management of works of a similar nature as applicable to the designated position.
