Job summary

A leading construction firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of MEP works on construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in MEP project management within the UAE construction industry. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing design drawings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Strong leadership, communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management in the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Proven experience managing MEP works for high-rise buildings or commercial projects.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of MEP works on construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate with clients consultants contractors and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Review MEP design drawings shop drawings and material submittals to ensure compliance with project and local authority standards.
• Plan and monitor project schedules budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Supervise site execution and ensure that all MEP activities adhere to project specifications safety standards and quality requirements.
• Manage procurement schedules for MEP systems and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and lead project progress meetings.
• Prepare and submit progress reports variation orders and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations codes and safety protocols.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management with at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations DEWA ADDC and other local authority requirements.
• Proven experience in managing MEP works for high-rise buildings commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication leadership and negotiation skills.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
• Must be available to join immediately.
