Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer Civil to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design and construction of various projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans including timelines, budgets and resource allocation in collaboration with the project management team
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project designs are feasible and meet all necessary requirements
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project management team, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays
• Conduct site visits to ensure construction is being carried out according to plans and specifications and address any on-site issues that may arise
• Manage project budgets and ensure all expenditures are within budget limits
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
• Review and approve project documentation including drawings, specifications and contracts
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members including engineers, contractors and subcontractors
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status, progress and any issues that may arise

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques and tools
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East is a plus
