Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full‑time basis /40 hour a week starting September 2025 who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

You should be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of new trends and applications in the field of Software Engineering as well as in teaching students from various cultures.

• Conducting introductory and in depth courses in the areas of software engineering
• Planning and implementation of research projects including publication activities
• Advising and supervising students
• Grading student work supervising seminars projects bachelors master and doctoral theses
• Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions for the further networking of the university at the Dubai location
• Administrative activities and committee work
• Advising prospective students

Your profile

• Several years of teaching experience at universities in the field of Software Engineering or a related subject
• Ability to teach courses in Business related areas is an advantage
• Ability to teach courses in the English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• Publication and research activities desired
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University

Requirements for professorship:

• Completed university studies.
• Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications.
• Qualified professional experience in the field of professorship at least three years two of them outside of a university.
