Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks a Senior Director & Team Head for Priority Banking to drive performance, manage high-profile client relationships, and lead a team of RMs and CSMs. You will align with wealth and retail banking strategy and ensure regulatory compliance while growing cross-sell opportunities across private and affluent clients in the UAE.

The role offers leadership across product, marketing and risk controls within a global banking environment and demands strong stakeholder

Qualifications

University graduate with relevant sales and relationship management experience.
Experience in handling all Banking & Investment Products.
Demonstrated ability in sales planning and client acquisition.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables and leadership aptitude.
Good understanding of the UAE business environment with HNI contacts.
Proficient computer literacy; adaptable to a multi-cultural setting.
In-depth knowledge of capital markets and financial planning.

Responsibilities

Drive performance of the unit toward targets for sales volumes, new customers and portfolio growth.
Manage a team of Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers.
Hire and maintain 13–15 RMs; oversee cross-sell targets.
Drive the banking agenda with the affluent client base.
Grow Priority Private/affluent clients through NTB acquisition and ETB upgrades.
Review performance of CRMs/CSMs and optimize productivity.
Develop MIS and provide insights to senior management.
Lead marketing and promotional initiatives with central teams.
