Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a Senior Associate Director, Insurance to support Priority Banking clients in the UAE. You will drive referrals, engage with Relationship Managers and brokers, and help grow the business while upholding governance and regulatory standards.

Working with regional stakeholders, you will deliver training, coordinate client events, manage referral processes, and ensure high-quality service across the broker network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial markets and HNW insurance solutions.
• Strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Understanding of governance, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate insurance referrals between RMs, ISs and brokers with timely follow-up.
• Monitor referral activity and maintain accurate client records.
• Identify and address process inefficiencies to improve referral outcomes.
• Partner with regional and country stakeholders to align referral practices.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions on insurance referral processes and governance.
• Coordinate client events with brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for insurance referral enquiries.
• Ensure referrals comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare management reports and escalate issues as needed.
• Support risk management, complaint resolution and regulatory updates.
