Job summary

A leading service provider in oil and gas is seeking a Preservation Supervisor to oversee all preservation activities in accordance with project standards and safety protocols. You will lead a team to execute preservation tasks involving various systems and ensure compliance with methodologies. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas or commissioning projects, possessing strong supervisory and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in preservation within oil & gas/commissioning projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preservation manpower and coordinate activities with construction, commissioning, and client teams.
• Execute and monitor preservation tasks for piping, equipment, electrical and control systems.

Job Title: Preservation Supervisor
Department: Commissioning & Completions Handover & Closeout

Job Purpose

Responsible for supervising and ensuring all preservation activities are executed in line with project standards, procedures, and HSE requirements from material receipt to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preservation manpower and coordinate activities with construction, commissioning, and client teams.
• Execute and monitor preservation tasks for piping, equipment, electrical and control systems.
• Ensure adherence to preservation methodologies (VCI, blanketing, mechanical/electrical protection).
• Review project documents (P&ID, equipment layout, line list, O&M manuals, etc.).
• Prepare/verify method statements, procedures, and preservation records.
• Support vendor activities, testing, and commissioning documentation.
• Maintain compliance with HSE, PTW, and PPE standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in preservation within oil & gas/commissioning projects.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills with good command of English.
