Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, safety, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, reducing costs, enhancing productivity, and ensuring high-quality output while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.
  • Lead and coordinate production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team including production supervisors, maintenance personnel, and quality assurance staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and HR departments to optimize operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets and cost-control strategies.
  • Report regularly to senior management on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8-12 years) in plant operations or production management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Skills Required
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning, maintenance, and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
