Our Engineering team ensures that all facilities and systems are maintained seamlessly behind the scenes. As an Order Taker – Engineering, you will be the central point of coordination, ensuring that maintenance requests are recorded, communicated, and followed up with efficiency and professionalism.

What will I be doing?

• Receive, log, and prioritize all maintenance requests from guests and internal departments.
• Coordinate with Engineering team members to ensure tasks are assigned and completed promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of requests, work orders, and completion times.
• Follow up with departments or guests to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
• Assist in preparing daily job allocations, reports, and shift handovers.
• Monitor and track preventive maintenance schedules and support administrative tasks.
• Handle telephone calls and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
• Support the Chief Engineer/Engineering Supervisors with documentation and departmental coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton standards and procedures in all record-keeping.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support the smooth functioning of the Engineering department.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in an administrative or order-taking role, ideally within Engineering or Hospitality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
• A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A collaborative, team-focused mindset.
