Oracle Forms & Reports Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Forms and Reports Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Customization

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Customize existing Oracle applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support application logic.
• Optimize Forms and Reports performance and troubleshoot system issues.

System Integration & Support

• Integrate Oracle Forms with backend Oracle Database and other enterprise systems.
• Perform debugging, testing, and deployment of new enhancements.
• Resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide ongoing support for production environments.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with functional teams, QA, and end users to ensure accurate delivery.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and user manuals.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best development practices.
• Support release management and deployment cycles.

Technical Skills & Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Forms (10g/11g/12c)
• Strong experience with Oracle Reports
• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and database programming
• Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customization (preferred)
• Experience with WebLogic Server or Oracle Fusion Middleware
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
