Job summary

A finance organization is looking for an Operations Officer in Abu Dhabi to ensure the timely processing of financial transactions and maintain operational quality. Candidates should have a Master’s or Bachelor's in Banking and Accounting and 3-4 years in banking. The role involves processing finance documents, reconciling accounts, and leading team guidance to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of finance transaction requests.
  • Review and process finance disbursement documents.
  • Process AED and FCY outward fund transfer transactions.
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of MAP and GL accounts.
  • Manage records of commodity trades and reconcile MAP accounts.
  • Review control reports and ensure document scanning adherence.
  • Provide guidance to team members and support international branches.
  • Lead resolution for transactional discrepancies.
  • Support BCP initiatives and maintain operational readiness.
  • Regularly assess operational workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Promote continuous learning through training programs.

Job description
Role : Operations Officer - WFO

Location : Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose

Maintain tight and high quality Operational and Administrative controls

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of finance transaction requests received via BPM Workflow System and WFOServices email in line with agreed turnaround times.
  • Review and process all finance disbursement documents across various products (e.g. Murabaha Istissna Sukuk Lombard Tadawul ..etc) ensuring compliance with approval protocols and Sharia guidelines.
  • Process all AED and FCY outward fund transferstransactions for settlements and miscellaneous instructions ensuring alignment with internal policies ensuring proper authorization and adherence to cut-off timelines.
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of MAP and GL accounts (including Khalifa Fund/MOPA) maintain accurate MIS updates and elevate unresolved items promptly.
  • Manage records of commodity trades reconcile MAP accounts with brokers and ensure timely processing of monthly broker fee payments.
  • Review control reports update/follow up deferral of documents and ensure proper document scanning and archiving and enforce adherence to service delivery standards and audit requirements.
  • Provide guidance to team members support international branches and assist in processing structured/syndicated deals and cross‑functional training initiatives.
  • Lead resolution for transactional discrepancies report significant deviations and ensure compliance with ADIB policies and procedures.
  • Support BCP initiatives by maintaining readiness and resilience across operations in coordination with the BCP Coordinator.
  • Regularly assess operational workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency control and service quality.
  • Promote continuous learning through training programs and mentorship fostering a culture of growth and operational excellence.
