Job description

The Operations Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the operations team. This role includes conducting training sessions and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure that operational processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company standards. The role also includes giving support to the HOD in managing key initiatives, coordinating projects, and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilites:
  • Design and develop training programs focused on operational processes, tools, and systems – tailored to each role in the operations department.
  • Create training materials, including manuals and presentations,
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires, as well as ongoing training for existing employees.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions to ensure practical understanding and application.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through test and feedback
  • Provide regular reports on training progress and outcomes to management.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify training needs and gaps.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in operational processes and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team.
  • Ensure that all training materials and programs comply with company policies and industry standards.
  • Assist the HOD in managing, coordinating, and tracking the progress of various projects. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and with necessary resources.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • 2/3 years in a training and operation role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions
