Job description

We are looking for an experienced MS SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions and reports. The role involves working on data integration, ETL, validation, and regulatory reporting projects while collaborating with IT and Risk teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources.
• Data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support performance tuning, query optimization, and database best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and compliant data solutions.
• Prepare documentation and support testing, UAT, and production activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in SQL development, database design, and optimization.
• Experience in AECB (Al Etihad Credit Bureau) and how AECB data is generated.
• Developed and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support AECB and CADPro reporting requirements.
• Expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, ETL/reporting tools.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL programming including queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Hands‑on experience with data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Good understanding of performance tuning and indexing.
• Knowledge of .NET integration for SQL automation is an added advantage.
• Experience in regulatory or banking reporting is a plus.
