Merchandising Assistant - Musaffah, UAE

Our company is a leading retailer in the Musaffah area of UAE and we are seeking a skilled Merchandising Assistant to join our team. As a Merchandising Assistant, your main responsibility will be to support the merchandising team in planning, organizing and executing product displays and promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining visual displays to showcase products in an attractive and organized manner
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and implement effective promotional strategies
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of products
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences
  • Use data analysis tools to track sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure all products are properly priced, labeled and displayed according to company standards
  • Coordinate with store management for product placement and prioritization of displays
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns related to products or promotions
Qualifications
  • Fluency in Urdu or Punjabi language is preferred due to our Pakistani customer base
  • Prior experience in a merchandising role is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the retail industry, including market trends and customer behavior
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have valid UAE residency visa (sponsorship) or own visa
