Job Description
Sales Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting and selling products to customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers to enhance repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
Merchandising
  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and according to company standards.
  • Implement promotional activities and ensure proper shelf placement for maximum visibility.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize product returns due to expirations.
Payment Collection
  • Collect payments from customers as per agreed payment terms.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and coordinate with the finance team.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Develop strong relationships with retail staff and managers to ensure smooth sales and merchandising operations.
  • Address any customer queries or issues in a professional manner.
Reporting
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, merchandising, and payment collections.
  • Highlight any challenges or opportunities in the market to the sales manager.
  • Provide insights into the actions, strategies, and market presence of competitors.
