Job summary

A global media and legal organisation seeks a MENA Project Manager in Dubai to lead a pro bono engagement initiative and support independent media with legal tools and training. The successful candidate will have significant project management experience, understanding of the legal sector, and fluency in English and Arabic. This role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience in the legal, CSO and/or media freedom sectors.
• Good understanding of legal and non-profit sectors in the UAE.
• Experience working on donor-funded projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with CSOs, media and law firms.
• Develop and run needs assessments to identify legal challenges.
• Support organisations to access pro bono legal services.
• Organise in-person and virtual workshops in partnership with law firms.
