MEA Startup Sales Manager - Lead AEs & Growth

Job summary

Cloudflare in Dubai seeks a senior sales leader to scale new business revenue across startups in the Middle East, Turkey & Africa. You will lead a team of Account Executives, coaching them on pipeline generation, deal execution, and day-to-day sales development.

You will partner with SalesOps, Marketing, Channel and other functions to drive GTM strategy, brand awareness, and customer adoption, while hiring and ramping top AEs to hit ambitious targets and contribute to growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus.
• 15+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on Startups across the Middle East, Turkey & Africa.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional sales growth by meeting and exceeding assigned quarterly and annual quotas.
• Manage, coach, and develop your team of Account Executives.
• Provide day-to-day deal support and functional guidance to AEs.
• Source, interview, and recruit top sales talents in coordination with recruiting and sales leaders.
• Own and drive accurate and up-to-date AE KPI reporting, including Salesforce, with weekly attainment forecast guidance.
• Help define ideal AE profiles for the region.
• Assist on-boarding and ramping up AEs.
• Develop and iterate best-practices to accelerate DNR growth and new product attach rates.
• Define and drive optimal Sales Go-To-Market coverage for all market segments.
• Drive channel relationships to accelerate channel business.
• Foster relationships between customer/partner executives and Cloudflare executives.
• Maintain a data-driven cadence for forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and account planning.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and kick-offs to monitor regional health of the business.
• Set high standards for AE performance and sales playbooks in core and new products.
• Collaborate with Regional/Global Sales, Marketing, Channel, and SalesOps to boost Cloudflare’s brand and revenues in target markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry organizations relevant to Cloudflare’s regional business.
• Fluency in English; Arabic a plus; minimum 15 years total sales, with 10+ years in startups across MEA.
