Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Mason you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various materials such as brick stone concrete and tile. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare and mix materials according to specifications including mortar paste cement and slacking lime
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan work and estimate material requirements
• Construct and repair walls floors and other structures using brick stone concrete and tile
• Perform minor repairs to civil structures including painting tiling and gypsum work
• Install and repair concrete terrazzo quarry tile wall tile ceramic floor and specialty floors
• Erect barricades and place warning signals around work sites to ensure safety
• Operate sandblasting equipment to smooth or prepare metal masonry or similar surfaces
• Mix mortar and maintain proper consistency for various applications
• Document all work performed and materials used for record-keeping purposes
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within budget
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mason or in a similar capacity
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Strong knowledge of various construction materials and techniques
• Excellent skills in brick laying stone masonry concrete work and tiling
