Job Overview
The Marketing Manager manages a team of marketing professionals, ensuring all campaigns are executed on time and within budget, and monitoring the performance of ongoing campaigns to identify areas for improvement. This job identifies new opportunities to promote and market products/services to the target audience to increase awareness, engagement on owned social media channels, website traffic and maximise lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the execution of all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, PPC advertising, and social media marketing.
- Ensure all marketing deliverables follow brand guidelines and have the proper angle and tone of voice.
- Monitor the performance of ongoing marketing campaigns, performing A/B and multivariate testing, and optimizing the campaigns to maximize conversions.
- Identify digital marketing traffic opportunities to grow sales and traffic to our website.
- Keep track of the latest trends, new platforms, and technologies in the automotive digital advertising space.
- Managing and optimising campaigns to generate sales leads.
- Assess engagement on both our company’s website and external sites, creating and developing strategies to drive qualified traffic to our company’s website.
- Establish marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and/or services.
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities including print, electronic and direct mail media.
- Develop and execute monthly and annual marketing budgets.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of dealership products and/or services.
- Communicate with outside advertising agencies regarding ongoing campaigns.
- Work with writers and artists; oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste‑up, and production of promotional materials.
- Create and prepare all print advertising, radio and TV commercials, billboards, direct mail pieces, in‑store point‑of‑purchase merchandising aids, interior and exterior signs, off‑site displays, news releases and stories.
- Work with the dealer and general sales manager to develop upcoming ad campaigns.
- Communicates marketing efforts to all dealership employees.
- Research, analyse and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and to minimise the effects of competitive activity.
- Communicate with dealership employees to keep abreast of customer attitudes, demographics, buying habits etc.
- Prepare marketing and other reports and presents them to management.
- Develop surveys and other marketing tools.
- Track marketing results to be certain that marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets. Takes corrective action when necessary.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and use sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Position Requirements
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years in related field.
- At least three years of experience in automotive industry.
Education
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in related field.
Skills
