Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as Compliance Officer in Banking/Financial Sector, preferably Wealth Management.
  • Experience working within a UAE Central Bank/DFSA/FSRA regulated entity.

Job Purpose:

As a Senior Compliance Officer, the Manager, play a crucial role in the Compliance Team, ensuring that all client onboarding & KYC review processes adhere to regulatory requirements. Work closely with various internal stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance framework and contribute to the overall integrity of our banking operations

Key Accountabilities:

Onboarding & KYC Reviews

  • Conduct KYC investigations on clients and approving on-boarding of new client relationships.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of client transactions and report findings to the Director.
  • Conduct ongoing compliance screening of all client transactions and report issues to the Director.
  • Carry out timely and ongoing follow-up with relationship managers for outstanding client transaction queries.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on new clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Review and assess client profiles, identifying and escalating any high-risk factors.
  • Manages and teams with less experienced Compliance Officers.
  • Ensure all Central Bank customer information requests are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Help to create and maintain Financial Crime compliance policies and procedures and ensure adherence to such procedures at all times.
  • Provide compliance advice to the business in a timely and professional manner.

Experience & Qualification:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as Compliance officer in similar role, in Banking/Financial Sector in a Wealth Management entity.
  • Proven experience of working within a UAE Central Bank/ DFSA/ FSRA regulated entity
  • CAMS or equivalent.
