Job summary

JOB PURPOSE:

This role supports the secure and efficient operation of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online security configurations, identity administration, licensing and Global Security Authentication (GSA). The candidate ensures collaboration continuity, compliance alignment and proactive service management across hybrid environments.

QUALIFICATION:

Engineering Degree (Computers / Electronics)

CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • ITIL Foundation
  • AI‑related training or certification will be considered an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience in M365 & security

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):
Key Responsibilities:
M365 Administration
  • Manage user provisioning, mailbox creation, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and overall tenant configurations
  • Monitor service health, implement governance policies and troubleshoot collaboration tool issues
M365 Security & Email Protection
  • Configure and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, DLP and Defender for Office 365
  • Monitor and respond to phishing, spam and malware threats via Defender, Mimecast or Proofpoint
  • Perform security incident response and impact assessment in alignment with SOC practices
SharePoint Administration
  • Administer SharePoint Online sites, access permissions, storage quotas and taxonomy
  • Support site lifecycle management, metadata tagging, archival processes and retention alignment
  • Troubleshoot sync issues and coordinate with content owners for collaboration efficiency
Active Directory & Hybrid Identity
  • Manage AD groups, OU structures, hybrid identity provisioning using AAD Connect
  • Ensure seamless identity federation, access synchronization and RBAC alignment
Global Security Authentication (GSA)
  • Implement and maintain GSA protocols for secure service access and identity validation
  • Coordinate GSA onboarding for offshore resources and service accounts
  • Maintain authentication workflows and logs for compliance visibility and risk tracking
  • Collaborate with enterprise security teams to optimize federated access policies and identity assurance
License Management & Reporting
  • Oversee subscription tracking, license assignment and renewal forecasting
  • Maintain dashboards for license consumption, access anomalies and budget planning
  • Provide documentation support for internal audits and compliance reviews
Cross‑Team Engagement
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, Procurement and regional delivery teams
  • Facilitate KT sessions and resource onboarding
  • Escalate critical issues and support transition coordination
